We know the business of health care from the bottom up. Our team of experienced professionals bring over 30 years of healthcare industry knowledge and experience. From our team of developers to our consulting and education team, Complete Practice Resources has extensive experience in all aspects of healthcare information management.

Our consulting and education team has direct experience managing provider organizations, providing workflow analysis and process improvement to healthcare facilities of all sizes. From small physician practices to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), our team has developed workflow processes and reimbursement policies that improve productivity, increase efficiency and optimize reimbursement. We provide education and custom designed consulting services that deliver real world, step by step guidance and tools to improve and optimize cash flow while making a practices job easier.

In addition, our development team has assisted in the creation of a collection of user friendly software for the healthcare industry. This includes software for revenue cycle/practice management, ONC certified electronic medical records systems, VA claims adjudication systems, VA insurance verification systems, and OCR scanning solutions. To assist physicians in the ICD-10 transition Complete Practice Resources developed our own software solution, the Simple Solutions GEMs Translator.

Steve Arter, CEO/Managing Member

Steve Arter is a nationally known speaker, consultant, educator, and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) who has been in the Healthcare industry for over 25 years. He is acknowledged as one of the top speakers in the country on numerous topics from ICD-10 to evaluation and management coding, to managed care and strategic planning for physician and provider networks. Mr. Arter has consulted with, and presented to, thousands of physician practices IPA's, MSO's, and PHO's around the country. He has reviewed and negotiated managed care contracts on behalf of physicians and physician groups, and has written and taught hundreds of courses on managed care and managed care contract negotiation. He has also developed educational programs on correct coding of physician claims, E&M code documentation, and Medicare reimbursement as well as the most recent seminars designed to prepare physician practices for the transition to ICD-10.

Denny Flint, President/Director of Educational Services

Denny Flint is a nationally recognized educator, speaker, consultant, and former CEO of a multi-specialty, multi-location physician group and Management Services Organization (MSO). He has authored and co-authored six books on the subject of practice management. Among them, “The Managed Care Guide”. This guide has received recognition from the Strategic Research Institute as “the definitive tool for practice and consultant, alike.” He sits on the editorial board for the ICD-10 Monitor, was a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through AAPC, and is a current ACMPE nominee. A former Air Force pilot, Dennis received his B.S. in Organizational Behavior from the United States Air Force Academy.

Ferdinand Jefferson, Chief Financial Officer/Member

Ferdinand Jefferson is a graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans, LA with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He obtained corporate experience as an employee of the IBM Corporation and several smaller computer sales companies prior to branching off as an entrepreneur. Mr. Jefferson has owned and managed Complete Medical Solutions, LLC for nearly 30 years and has extensive background and knowledge in the medical market. Through Complete Medical Solutions, Mr. Jefferson offers his clients comprehensive practice management solutions through the integration of technology with clinical and analytical components. These solutions are backed by excellent training and on-going support.

Kathy Pride, Chief Operating Officer/Director of Consulting Services

Kathy Pride is a proven leader in healthcare revenue cycle management with extensive experience in management, project implementation, coding, billing, physician documentation improvement, compliance audits, and education. She has trained and managed Health Information Management (HIM) professionals in multiple environments. Kathy has provided compliance coding and documentation education to hundreds of physicians and coders throughout her career and is a past adjunct faculty member at both Palm Beach State College and Indian River State College in Florida. Kathy is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and Certified Coding Specialist – Physician (CCS-P) through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and a Professional Coding Specialist (PCS) through The American College of Medical Coding Specialists (ACMCS).
